  • "I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the standard of craftsmanship your contractors displayed on the fitting out of the cladding on the boathouse wall at the rear of the Hovercraft bay. Not only did they retro –fit the cladding, they also gave our internal doors a fresh coat of paint and their work has really made the place shine. Keeping these surfaces clean is going to be a lot easier and this area is often the first thing visitors see so this is very important to us. Please pass on our thanks to Gary & Steve of Vision Interior Projects Ltd for a great job well done."

Financial Conduct Authority

Vision Interior Projects were requested to undertake a Suspended Ceiling survey of all fifteen floors of the Financial Conduct Authority building in London’s Canary Wharf after one of the ceiling tiles fell from the grid system, luckily no one was injured.

The works included checking a percentage of all floors to all ceilings to determine that all safety cables and clips were of sound condition and all carriage, T frames and grid lines were also in good and safe condition.

A full report was formulated for each area checked and all defects that were found were listed and we have now been instructed to return to site and carry out the remedial works, these works involve the supply and installation of new safety cables, clips, ceiling tiles (several different types) and carriage frame work.

Most of the faults found were minor and it was apparent that these faults were the result of other trades removing the tiles to gain access to the ceiling void to undertake maintenance works to either the lighting and or the air conditioning resulting in damage as described above.

We have now been on site for three weeks and we expect to have all remedial works complete by Friday 20th December, this is largely due to the fact we are working a night shift as well as weekend working in to order to minimalize the disruption the office staff during the course of their normal working day.

By undertaking these works, any risk of the metal pan ceiling tiles (or any ceiling tile) and any of the grid ceiling system falling will be greatly reduced thus less chance of causing any injury in the future.
