  • "I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the standard of craftsmanship your contractors displayed on the fitting out of the cladding on the boathouse wall at the rear of the Hovercraft bay. Not only did they retro –fit the cladding, they also gave our internal doors a fresh coat of paint and their work has really made the place shine. Keeping these surfaces clean is going to be a lot easier and this area is often the first thing visitors see so this is very important to us. Please pass on our thanks to Gary & Steve of Vision Interior Projects Ltd for a great job well done."

**In 2014 Vision Interior Projects refurbished 17 different British Red Cross Sites!! **

British Red Cross- Godalming

Due to the recent spate of bad weather Vision Interior Projects had to attend the British Red Cross premise’s at Godalming in Surrey.
Due to the heavy rainfall in January, the River Wye burst its banks and flooded the surrounding area, the British Red Cross office was one those nearby which was badly affected.

Upon arrival on site it was soon clear that the damage was severe as the water level had risen above the electrical sockets on the walls and when the water subsided, it left behind all the sludge and debris from the river.

The first phase was to isolate all the electrics and make them safe, all the furniture was moved and the carpets uplifted and disposed of. Before any repair works could be undertaken Vision Interior Projects needed to dry the building out so De Humidifiers were set up throughout the building and left to work over a three week period. Once the building was dry the second phase could take place, this included new electric sockets being installed then the electric system was completed checked and given a clean bill of health. Their staff are now busy cleaning and sanitising the equipment and trying to get back to normal running ASAP, however more works will be required once all the paperwork has been completed.

British Red Cross - Eastleigh

Vision Interior Projects has been working closely with the British Red Cross for the last few years since taking over the business from Michael Main.

This project involved the relocating of office from the Winchester branch down to Eastleigh, but before that could happen we needed to make some interesting changes to the layout of the new building. This involved the removal of stud walls to the corridor so that the lay out changed to accommodate the new Sluice room, Accessible toilet and staff room, whilst upstairs had a new kitchenette installed in the training room.

To the main store area a new mezzanine floor was constructed with new stud walls under it to allow for the construction of the new store rooms, extra charging points for the Ambulances were also installed so that four Ambulances could be charged at any one time.  Outside the building we supplied a new converted storage container.

The above works included new stud works, plumbing works, electrical works, flooring and decoration works, new grid ceilings and upgrade to the existing security system.

During the course of works several instructions were issued to Vision Interior Projects for further works which were completed and the building was handed back to the British Red Cross, who were extremely pleased with the new building.

British Red Cross- Lymington

The Red Cross has set Vision Interior Projects up on a frame work agreement over the past few years, calling on us to react to their needs across the south coast with call outs such as leaking taps, heating braking down and doors not locking at home time.

In February Vision Interior Projects were call to Red Cross shop in Lymington to attend to various odd jobs that would require our odd job man and our electrical contractor. The works included refit loose plug socket in shop floor, water heater that only produces freezing water, light in the window that trips whenever it rains, so as you can see although we have carried out the larger contracts for various clients we are more than able to carry out the smallest of those niggling faults within any building.
Other sites that we have carried out small works for the Red Cross this year are listed as follows: Basingstoke, Winchester, Romsey, Portsmouth, Winnal, Fareham, Woking, Fleet, Farnham, Southampton, Eastleigh, Ringwood, Godalming, Ringwood, Croydon, Isle of Wight and Maidstone.

British Red Cross - Farnham

The British Red Cross decided to relocate from their offices in Farnham to a smaller unit next door, this unit would then serve as a storage and loan equipment facility.
Vision Interior Projects
started the works early October with the removal of the existing full height garage doors and replacing them with a single door incorporated into new timber frame and finished with T&G Boarding.

The follow on works included the upgrade of all electrics, installation of a small kitchenette area and new toilet.
The works are on-going and should be completed by the 4th November.
